I used different combinations of the various star cutting files to make a collection of stars in red, white, and blue. Each is suspended using patriotic themed ribbon.  I did spray them with acrylic sealer and they have lasted extremely well in this covered but outdoor location.

The star patterns have some hidden possibilities. Using the pattern for Star Style 1 you can make both these stars. The top one has 5 diamond box units combined with fat points in.  The bottom star uses 10 of the same diamond box units but positioned with the skinny point in.
