Some Info on Card Stock Weight

The whole card stock weight/ thickness numbers is very confusing. If you google “card stock weight” you will find many paper companies have sites to try and explain it. Here is a link to one. https://blog.thepapermillstore.com/ultimate-guide-to-card-stock/part-2-paper-weights-sheet-sizes/

Look under the crafting section. There is a helpful chart there.

One thing that makes it confusing is the US numbers vs metric but that isn’t all.

There are types of card stock as well. The card stock I use on Tea light village has been either 65 lb test cover card stock, or 110 lb index card stock, which according to my research online is equivalent to about 177  - 200 gms. I find the 65 lb cover and the 110 index to be very similar.

In the tutorials for Tea Light Village which are all online here https://3dcuts.com/tutorial-group-tea-light-village I refer to both. In either case you must use a high quality smooth card stock without a lot of fiber in it so the tiny windows will cut cleanly.
